[icecast] Disk performance

Hi, i use icecast1 with liveice.
In the liveice config there is an option for storing the stream remote on the server.
Now i'm wondering what kind of hardisk performance you need when you try to store like a 100 streams at the same time? 

I'm planning to use a scsi disk for it, but is there anyone who allready did this?
