Well we need to know, if you are running up-to-date CVS ices and
libshout for a start. Can you describe the pattern you've seen wrt the
leak. Does the stream disconnect from icecast?

ok the sleep time is pretty bad (3000+secs). That should not be
happening at all, far too excessive. Does this occur often, randomly?
What are the ogg vorbis files settings (samplerate etc).
