i have ices2 streaming pre-encoded files from my library , based on
timeofday schedule . ( i'm not using the <encode> section )
it works for many .ogg episodes , however it will not work for others .
meanwhile , if i connect directly to the .ogg through icecast's fileserve,
it will play fine .
if i check the ices.log file , it appears to be working fine .
in the icecast error.log i get the follow -- ( first entry at 16oo workefd
. at 18oo it does not .. both .ogg files are working fine through
fileserve _ and both were recorded by the same means through the same
studio server ! )

..
; i'm guessing i could check the status.xsl for the mountpoints and offer
fileserve OR direct recast depending , but i'd like to know if theres
another more complete solution .
thanks for any input .,
