<p>Unlike with mp3 streaming (which has metadata hacked on externally to
the actual mp3 bitstream), vorbis has a true metadata system incorporated.
This means that the players don't actually distinguish between file and
stream when they're displaying the 'title string'. The default is usually
something like "Artist - Title", but even that varies, so there's no way 
to give a single string that will be displayed how you want it. 

That said, ices2 will eventually have a generic mechanism for metadata
overrides, so that you can insert whatever data you want - actually
getting players to display it how you want is still going to be at least
somewhat problematic, but you can often get a reasonable version there.
The code for this is about 2/3 written, but got put on hold because it's
not critical and I haven't had much time lately.

Won't be in icecast itself, though.
