[icecast] Number of clients

Clients includes sources admins and listeners. Say you have a server with two sources 5 listeners and you are logged in as admin through telnet you should have 8 clients.

I noticed on IceCast1 that the number of clients displayed in the admin
console is very often higher than  the number of clients provided by
"listeners". Is it a bug or is there a problem on my server ?
