<p>I never said that the information would be deleted. Rather, the new page
will
concentrate on icecast2 and related vorbis projects. The information for the
older releases (as well as all the content from the Icecast1 page) will just
be a click away.
I'm not justifying anything. Read back to a few days ago, maybe a week or
so.
I asked for help documenting Icecast2 and Ices2. You just not reading. Also,
you might not be aware that there are things on irc, personal email, and
other private communications that you just don't know.
Just because you don't see us doing anything doesn't mean that it won't
happen
or that it is not going to happen. We have several people working on new
pages. When they're done, they will be uploaded and posted.
As Mike said, this is a volunteer project. Read his message again. Other
than
an email address @xiph.org, I haven't received any money. We do what we can.
I invite you to help then, instead of wasting your energy here. I'm sure you
have useful skills that would make Xiph.org (and it's NEGLECTED pages) a
better project for all.
Thank you,
Manuel Lora
