[icecast] Question - multi server environment

Ahh I see the list has recognized me finally! I run an stream focusing on
prerecorded live performances and also live performances itself. One
problem I face is automating between streaming sources, live and playlist
feed. I want to have ices feeding the server until someone tries to connect
then use the live source after they haves successfully authenticated, then
have ices start feeding the server again once they have disconnected. Has
anyone ever done anything like this? I have thought maybe using a perl
script to handle 3 servers in this situation: One public server relaying
either one of 2 servers would either be what ices is connected to or the
other waiting for a live connection and switch between the 2 servers without
disconnecting the users from the public end of things. I also thought about
using 2 ips on the same server and switching them with a script. Any help
or advice appreciated.

Thanks
-Dave
