[icecast] track title

I finally got icecast working, though I had to downgrade from icecast2 and 
ice2 to the old ones.  But I'm wondering, how can I get all the "meta" 
information to display when tuning into the stream with my mp3 player?
Do I have to use the perl or python scripting for my playlists in order to do 
this?  Is it not possible to do with the basic playlist?
