I've got an ancient little patch against liveice for the ever-popular
%s format-string bug which helps with some segfaults, and a couple
other minor tweaks. I've posted them a couple times in the past, think
I can commit them?

But, since I'm migrating to ices from liveice this is not me
volunteering to maintain liveice :)
