As far as I understand Linode just provides Xen based virtualized
servers. So it will depend entirely on the distribution you chose
to run on your instance. Debian and Ubuntu have icecast2 in their
repositories, for Fedora, RHEL and CentOS there are packages too,
you might need to use EPEL. Please refer to the distribution
specific documentation on installing packages.<br>
