Thank you for your good report.

Sadly Opus metadata support has been added after the release of
2.4.99.1. You need at least 33d3dd7c575c46080d19b327f8e6f30f7abe9167
(2017-01-22). I suggest you to have a look at the current master from
http://git.xiph.org/
It also includes several other fixes and improvements.
