Yeah, I am familiar with this library, but as I know this is just for
sources. I am more interested in requirements clients have to meet, what
header response options are available, and which have to be implemented in
both server and clients (not sources).

Main reason why I am asking is that I'd like to know whether clients like
mpg123, zinf or winamp can be expected to be capable of handling
HTTP-Location responses.

One more detail about Icecast2 that I'd like to know is whether there is any
load-balancing feature implemented or about to be implement? Since there is
this Master-Slave-Feature, is the Master capable of moving the client to a
slave registered at the Master?

I haven't found information concerning that in the official documentation
and I also haven't had a look into the sources yet.
