Your best bet is to read the _login_icy() and _login_xaudiocast()
functions in the libshout source.  There is no formal documentation yet.

Also, I recommend using libshout to write a source client.  It won't
help you writing a playback client though.  For playback, just act like
it's normal HTTP, and look at the extra headers you get returned.
