OK, seems like this one:

might be more relevant. At least they do non-harmonic sinusoids. Problem
is that it's about 2-3 orders of magnitude more CPU-intensive than the
code I've got in svn. I suspect that the result would be equivalent to
what my code does, but I haven't proved that yet. Still worth looking at
though.
