Hi all,

There are some people interested at the W3C HTML WG in Sun's project DReaM
and its specifications, since there is a big discussion about the
usefulness of DRM in the Web platform (see email in [1] and forwarded
below).

Is there anyone on the list here who might have downloaded the DReaM-CAS
(key exchange) and DReaM-MMI (Mother May I license negotiation)
specifications at that time and may have a copy? They were behind a login,
but available freely under a CC license FAIK. Andrew is trying to put all
the information and code back together at
https://github.com/papyromancer/DReaM .

Regards,
Silvia.

There are more documents on the wayback machine [1] but unfortunately
DReaM-CAS (key exchange) and DReaM-MMI (Mother May I license
negotiation) specifications are nowhere in sight. (during my first
search last week I found the CVS url, but I didn't write it down, and I
couldn't find it today).

I was able to find the source for MMI and CAS reference implementations
as well as the licensing server on (the horror show) codeforge.com [2],
and to avoid paywalls and registration walls I've added these projects
and the docs I've found this to a GitHub repository [3] in hopes that
reading the source will be of benefit while I try to find the specs
themselves.
