A question was raised if it was possible to set the tag namespace via
javascript dom manipulation. E.g. so a user script can stick it on
existing video tags.
Someone needs to test this— without easy access to windows I can't.
But if no one else does it then I can setup an example for Cristian to
test.
If it doesn't work I made the suggestion that recreating the tag via
innerhtml may work.
Once this is sorted out a userscript ought to be created that does
this so that IE-video unaware sites will work for people— perhaps the
installer could even configure this.... though I'm unsure of how
effective this would be, since the video tag is often
script-instantiated.
