[Flac] cuesheet or not?

Dear list

I believe I hit a common problem.

I can store my ripped CD as one single flac file, plus a cuesheet, the
benefit is I can re-create the identical CD anytime later, the problem
is non of my music player can play my cuesheet (tested with mplayer,
amarok, totem with my Linux notebook, iTune on my Mac OS notebook), the
only player that can play that cuesheet is foobar on my friend's Windows
Noteobok, while I don't plan to switch to Windows now.

I can store my ripped CD as a set of flac files, my audio players are
happy with that but I wouldn't be able to restore the CD later.

Isn't there a 'perfect solution'? for example, having a cuesheet that
can restore CD with a set of flac files? e.g. if it's possible to write
many "FILE" section in a cuesheet for each track?

Thanks in advance!
