[Flac] FLAC: format improvements

Hi,

I read in the changelog of FLAC 1.2.0 'Also the decoder has been updated to
pave the way for some format improvements'.
Can somebody tell me what kind of improvements are meant here we can expect
in FLAC 1.2.x?
