they're different... DVD audio is linear PCM, maybe
losslessly compressed with MLP.  SACD I think is 1-bit
pulse density modulated.

yes.

the only real roadblock is for SACD; the stream would have to
be converted to linear PCM first because that is all FLAC
supports currently.
