i'm not exactly sure i understand what you want to do but i imagine you
want you ripping software to tag the files automatically for you. i'm
using abcde right now. its a shell script that does the automatic
tagging with entries in cddb. (http://www.hispalinux.es/~data/abcde.php)
i'm experimenting with sound-juicer (a gnome2 app) and i might switch to
using that if it becomes more configurable.
