[Flac-dev] Compiling problem flac 1.0.4 Mandrake 9.0 gcc 3.2

Hi,

I just read the thread about making 3dnow optimisations default and thought I would test it as I have an AMD here.
Unfortunately I can not even compile with default (no 3dnow) options.

./configure goes fine including this part:

but the when I make it bombs out with:

It looks like it is complaining about g++ missing but configure knew this was not there so I would expect a failure at
configure. As you see this is flac 1.0.4.  I am running Mandrake 9.0 gcc version 3.2.
