It's not impossible, and technically, it's already been "done" as can been seen on the Daala demo pages.  You can just make a single-frame Ogg file and that's effectively the same thing (albeit not the most efficient way to do it).

But, aside from some potential efficiency enhancements, what would YAIF using Daala bring?
