[daala] Interested in contributing

Hello!

I just came across this project, and would like to get involved.

I am currently working on my own open source jpeg 2000 codec targeted at
the GPU.  Is there any interest in accelerating daala ?  If so, perhaps I
could be of some assistance.

Otherwise, if you are still at the "premature optimization - root of evil"
phase, perhaps I could help in other areas.  I have a pretty strong math
backround and a fair bit of low level C coding experience.
