[annodex-dev] Continuing improvement of CMML

Hi all,

I've just committed a first draft specification of CMML 4.0 in XML schema at
http://svn.annodex.net/standards/cmml_4_0.xsd .

This is a first draft and includes much of the discussion had at FOMS as
noted at http://trac.annodex.net/wiki/CmmlChanges .
It includes much from the XHTML specification at
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1-schema/ .

Note that CMML is now not an authoring format for Annodex any more, but a
timed text codec - a metadata format that is sequential and will easily map
into a logical Ogg bitstream.

Anyone who is doing any annotation projects - I would love to get feedback
whether this version of CMML is actually satisfying the needs and making it
easy to work with or whether it in fact stands in the way of getting
annotations done.

In addition, I am considering adding more elements to the head tag: in
particular elements from RSS (http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/rss/rss.html)
such as "description", "copyright", "pubdate" "rating", and "category".

Any feedback very welcome!
