[advocacy] 1.0 Release?

Hi,

I must admit that I've held off any major advocacy activities (compiling manufacturer lists etc.) until the 1.0 final release, 
but it doesn't seem to be coming. Is there any official release date for 1.0 yet, or should RC2 be considered ready for the 
masses?
