That's not what I meant, although I agree you could read that into
the statement. I'll change it.

Note that it says 'your music'. By this I meant the music that you
made yourself, not the music you bought from someone else on CD. The
conventional license on a CD prohibits all forms of copying, whether
for profit or not.

Of course where you are the publisher of the CD, you are perfectly
entitled to put Ogg files of the content on a website - unless you
have signed a contract giving exclusive internet rights to someone
else. This has happened to a small record label I know, and the files
in question sound awful (30 second clips in MP3 at a low bitrate).
Worse than AM radio, I think - and you only hear a fragment of the
song.
