I don't agree with pre-embed the text codec for some cases
for example, if I use bittorrent protocol to distribute the theora file, the text media is embed in the theora file
and I use User-generated text (like metavid.org)
the bittorrent file well be come invalid ever time the text is added or removed
in turn I well lose people in mid-download, share (seeding), etc when a new bittorrent file is created
